Life Transition Coaching for Women Done Making Themselves Small

Be fully yourself and finally belong, without shrinking to keep it.

Private somatic coaching for women in matrescence, midlife, career change, faith deconstruction, or relationships shifting. In a few months you'll trust yourself through uncertainty and know who you are beneath every role.

This is life transition coaching for women standing at a threshold—when the version of you that got you here can no longer hold what's next.

For the woman who is choking on crumbs and ready to feast on the whole meal.

For the woman whose bones hum with truth: this isn't the life I am here for.

For the woman in matrescence who can't reconcile motherhood with who she was before, and refuses to erase either version.

For the woman at midlife whose carefully built life no longer fits.

For the woman who just learned she's neurodivergent and everything suddenly makes sense-and nothing fits anymore.

For the woman in career transition who's lost herself, not just her job title.

For the woman who deconstructed her faith and her entire world rearranged-community gone, identity dissolving, everything uncertain.

For the woman who can't show up in her business without performing a version of herself that isn't real.

For the woman who's been people-pleasing her way through every client relationship and can't do it anymore.

For the woman whose business feels like a mask she no longer has the energy to sustain.

For the woman who's done shrinking, done smoothing her edges, done making everyone else comfortable.

For the woman who knows that what has been is gone, but doesn't yet know what's next.

For the woman who has seen-even for a moment-how half-alive she's been, and knows she can't go back.

This is for women who are done abandoning themselves.

It's not about fixing what's broken.

It's about reclaiming what's holy.

What Is Life Transition Coaching?

The heart of this work is the journey from self-abandonment to sovereignty.

For years (maybe decades), you've been people-pleasing, perfecting, performing. Abandoning what you want to keep others comfortable. Fragmenting yourself to fit roles that were never designed for your fullness.

And now something has shifted. Maybe it's matrescence, midlife, a career dissolution, or a late diagnosis that reframes everything. Maybe your faith collapsed. Maybe you lost yourself in your business. Maybe it's grief, a relationship ending, or nothing dramatic at all—just a quiet, unbearable knowing that you can't keep living this way.

The threshold isn't the life event. The threshold is the moment you stop abandoning yourself and begin the work of coming home.

This is somatic life transition coaching that guides you through that crossing by learning to trust the intelligence of what's dissolving and what's emerging, not by bypassing the body or thinking your way through.

You don't need to know what's next to begin. You only need to stop betraying what you already know.

Life Transition Coaching for Matrescence, Midlife, Career Change, Faith Deconstruction & More

The thresholds I work with most often:

Matrescence Coaching: Integrating Motherhood Without Erasing Who You Were

You became a mother and the old version of you dissolved. You're trying to integrate motherhood with ambition, softness with drive, the woman you were with the woman you're becoming, and it feels impossible. This work honors the identity reconfiguration of motherhood without asking you to erase who you were before.

Midlife Coaching: When the Life You Built No Longer Fits

You're at midlife and the life you carefully constructed (career, relationships, routines) no longer fits. You can't tolerate what once seemed "fine." Your body is refusing to keep performing. This work is for women ready to let the old identity dissolve and trust what wants to emerge.

Career Transition Coaching: When You've Lost Yourself, Not Just Your Job

You're in career transition. Your professional identity is dissolving, and you don't know who you are without it. This isn't strategy or resume help. This is for women whose work and self have been so entangled that losing one means reorienting everything.

Neurodivergent Coaching: Reorienting After Late Diagnosis

You were just diagnosed (ADHD, autism, something that suddenly reframes your entire life). Everything makes sense now. And nothing fits anymore. This work supports women integrating a late diagnosis, learning to stop masking, and building a life that honors how you're actually wired.

Deconstruction Coaching: When Your Faith Collapses and Your Entire World Shifts

You've deconstructed your faith and everything rearranged. The community that held you is gone. The identity you built around your beliefs is dissolving. You're grieving what you believed and who you were while trying to figure out who you're becoming without those structures.

Somatic Business Coaching: When You've Lost Yourself in Your Work

You've built a business, practice, or leadership role, but somewhere along the way, you disappeared into it. Maybe you're people-pleasing with clients, over-functioning, or paralyzed by perfectionism. Maybe you can't show up authentically because you're terrified of judgment. Maybe visibility triggers shutdown. Maybe your business feels like a performance you can no longer sustain. This work helps women whose work and self have become so entangled that reclaiming one means reclaiming both.

Or Any Threshold Where You've Lost Yourself

Divorce. Grief. Friendship dissolution. Health crisis. Relocation. Business pivot. The threshold doesn't matter as much as the pattern underneath it: you've been abandoning yourself, and you're ready to stop.

The Becoming Framework: Somatic Coaching Through Three Phases

Crossing the Threshold is guided by what I call The Becoming Framework, a somatic approach to identity transition that honors the truth that real change is not linear, forceful, or purely cognitive.

Rather than rushing toward answers, this framework supports you to stay with yourself as something ends, listen for what's true from the inside, and allow your life to reorganize around that truth.

Phase 1: Orientation — Staying with Yourself as Something Ends

This phase is about slowing down enough to name what is no longer working, without pathologizing yourself or rushing to fix it. You'll develop a softening of internal panic, language for what's actually happening, a nervous system that can hold uncertainty without collapsing, and a growing sense of steadiness during change.

Phase 2: Embodied Discernment— Learning to Listen Without Forcing Clarity

Here, the work deepens into learning how to listen to the body as a source of truth, especially when the mind wants answers before they're ready. You'll notice clearer inner signals, less second-guessing, increased trust in your own timing, and decisions arising from resonance rather than fear or obligation. This is where self-trust begins to replace self-override.

Phase 3: Integration — Letting Life Reorganize Around What You Now Know

As clarity settles in the body, life begins to shift (often quietly, from the inside out). You'll find the ability to stay connected to yourself while remaining in relationship, a softening of chronic over-functioning, boundaries that emerge naturally, self-abandonment patterns loosening their grip, and a steadier sense of self that remains intact even as roles or identities evolve.

What Shifts in Life Transition Coaching

While every journey is unique, here’s what clients report in the first few months:

In matrescence:

You stop apologizing for wanting things that aren't about your kids. You hire the babysitter without a 10-minute internal justification about why you "deserve" it.

At midlife:

You end a 20-year friendship that's been draining you. Instead of spiraling into "what's wrong with me," you feel clear. Sad, but clear.

In career transition:

You walk away from the career you spent 15 years building and your nervous system doesn't treat it like you're dying. You can feel the grief and the relief at the same time.

After faith deconstruction:

You tell your family you're not going to church anymore. You stay present through their reaction instead of shutting down or defending yourself for three hours afterward.

After late diagnosis:

You stop forcing yourself to make eye contact in every conversation like you'd been taught. Your mask comes off and you can finally breathe.

In business:

You say no to a misaligned client and don't spiral into money panic for three days. You trust that the right people will come.

Across all thresholds:

You stay connected to yourself while remaining in relationship, not disappearing or over-adapting. You set boundaries without guilt. You make decisions from resonance instead of fear. Self-abandonment patterns loosen their grip.

Most clients don't leave with a new job, relationship, or external identity. They leave with an embodied sense of self they can return to, even when life feels unclear. And for many, that becomes the foundation from which outer change unfolds naturally.

How Somatic Coaching works

What You’ll Receive in This Life Transition Coaching Journey

2 Private Sessions Per Month

Deep, body-led conversations where we map what threshold you're in, what's dissolving, what's emerging, and what your body needs next. These aren't strategy sessions, they're somatic work. We meet via Zoom, 50 minutes each session.

Asynchronous Support on Voxer

Between sessions, you have access to me via voice memo on Voxer. This lets you process in real time as things unfold, not just twice a month on Zoom. You can reach out when something shifts, when resistance surfaces, when clarity lands.

Personalized Somatic Practices

After each session, you'll receive body-based practices tailored to your specific threshold—tools to help you stay with yourself as things shift. These practices are designed specifically for what you're navigating right now, not generic meditations.

Threshold Resource Library

Access to readings, reflections, and somatic practices that support the specific threshold you're navigating (whether that's matrescence, midlife, faith deconstruction, career transition, or late diagnosis).

Why Work With Me

I've crossed my own thresholds and lived to tell the truth.

I burned down the career I spent my life building as a Doctor of Physical Therapy to backpack the world alone and rebuild myself from the ground up.

I've deconstructed my faith and rebuilt my entire worldview, losing a community, grieving an identity, finding myself in the rubble.

I've reinvented my work, my marriage, my motherhood, and my identity, each time learning that the only way through is surrender.

Each threshold taught me what I now bring to this work: a devotion to living in deep congruence with life itself.

This work isn't conceptual for me. It's bone-deep. It's lived. And it's the most honest thing I know how to offer.

Is Life Transition Coaching Right for You?

This work is for you if:

You've done the foundational work. You've been to therapy. You've read the books. Now you're ready for the deeper layers: the somatic, identity-level work that can't be thought through.

You're in an identity transition (and at least 6 months past the acute stage). You're stabilized, but still navigating the shift.

You're willing to feel. This isn't solely cognitive work. We work with your body, your nervous system, your grief, your desire.

You're ready to stop abandoning yourself. No more people-pleasing, performing, or perfecting your way through life and work. You want to integrate all of you and lead from your actual self.

You know you can't keep going the way you have been (even if you don't know what's next yet).

This Work Is Not for You If

You want quick fixes or a step-by-step formula. Threshold work is slow, non-linear, and deeply personal. There's no formula.

You're in acute crisis right now. If you're in the immediate aftermath of separation, newly postpartum and struggling to function, or in active trauma response, please start with a therapist or crisis support. I work with you once you're stabilized.

You want strategy without the internal work. If you just want to make more money, find your next career, or "fix" something external without addressing what's happening internally, I'm not your person. This work goes through, not around.

You want me to tell you what to do. I coach, I reflect, I hold, but you are the authority on your own life. If you need someone to give you answers or a roadmap, this won't feel supportive to you.

You're not ready to invest in yourself. This work is $500/month for ongoing support, and most clients stay 6-9 months. If that's not feasible right now, this might not be the right time.

Ready to Cross the Threshold?

“To Take Back a Life" by Kate Baer

First, you must learn desire. Hold its

fruit in your hands. Unmarry it from

the hunger to be held, to be wanted, to

be called from the streets like the family

dog. You are not a good girl. You are not

somebody’s otherness. This is not a dress

rehearsal before a better kind of life.

Pick up your heavy burdens and leave

them at the gate. I will hold the door for

you.
